French Crepes Recipe
These delicious French style delicacies can be made as a dessert, a breakfast, or a savory dinner course. Easy to make and fun to customize, don’t be afraid to get creative with your fillings and toppings.
French Crepes Ingredients:
1 cup milk
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
Start by whisking together the eggs, milk, and flour. Add salt and vanilla and continue to mix. You want this batter to be very well mixed, so use a blender or food processor if possible. Let batter refrigerate, covered, for approximately 1 hour.
Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat and brush with oil. Pour 1/4 cup of crepe batter into pan, tilting to completely coat the surface of the pan. Cook 2-3 minutes, flip over and cook another 2-3 minutes, until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter.
These crepes can be served almost any why you would like. For delicious dessert crepes cover with a bit of whipped cream and fruit such as bananas and berries. Serve with syrup. Enjoy!
